Our community is rich in natural and cultural heritage. Let’s not lose what defines us and makes us unique.

Joni Mitchel had it right when she wrote:

That you don’t know what you got ‘til it’s gone

They paved paradise put up a parking lot

I believe in protecting our historical built environment and green spaces. I am an advocate for increased tree canopies. The greening of neighbourhoods has multiple benefits, including increased natural habitat, cooling, increased carbon capture in the face of climate change, and improved community aesthetics.
